‘WE LOVE VEGAN - The art of tasty vegan ice cream’

Our Brussels location hosted an exclusive demonstration on 25 March around one of the most promising trends in the ice cream world: vegan gelato. In collaboration with Fructital, pioneer in plant-based ice cream with their innovative line WE LOVE VEGAN, we were pleased to welcome a diverse group of ice cream makers, catering and pastry enthusiasts for an in-depth and hands-on session.

During this inspiring demonstration, the 30 professionals present gained insight into developing high-quality vegan ice cream creations that excel in taste, texture and presentation. The programme included:

  • Vegan Gelato & Cremino: the fundamental techniques for a creamy, full-flavoured plant-based ice cream
  • Vegan Sticks: a refreshing snack option with commercial added value
  • Vegan Ice Cream Cake: creative dessert applications with a trendy look

In addition to technical know-how, participants also received strategic insights on how to successfully position vegan ice cream in a rapidly evolving market. With an increasing demand for sustainable, plant-based alternatives, this session proved its absolute relevance for any modern ice cream parlour or catering business.

This session emphasised once again that vegan need not be a compromise - but just an opportunity for innovation.
